It may just be better to contact Dell France and see what they say. A recovery image is ONLY available on your own hard drive, OR if you make your own recovery disk. It's a manual installation per the link below. A disk from Dell is ONLY Windows 7 - you have to install Windows, then drivers, updates, and software separately. You can certainly try contacting Dell Taiwan, but I don't think Dell Taiwan will have a copy of Windows7 in French.Īnd Dell does not make "factory image disks". However, does your Dell France guarantee cover international travel? Most standard guarantees do not - and even if you did buy extra coverage for international travel, you might still not have free help for software trouble, only for hardware.
I didn't know you were from France, and certainly didn't know you were now travelling in Taiwan - if I did, I would never have answered, since I am just a US user and only know a little about international support. You started with just Roxio, but now you want complete recovery disks. Otherwise, you've now completely changed your problem from simple to very complicated. Another user here may be able to help you fix it without reformatting. Make a new post to do that - include details of your problem, your PC model, and the operating system (Win7 32). Maybe you should just explain exactly what your Win7 problem is.
